Emergency Showers & Eyewash
An emergency eyewash and safety shower station are essential equipment for every laboratory that uses chemicals and hazardous substances needs. Emergency eyewash and safety shower stations serve the purpose of reducing workplace injury and keeping workers away from various dangers.
- Wall mounted emergency shower
- Wall mounted emergency shower with eye shower
- Wall mounted emergency eye shower
- Desk mounted eye shower
Safety Station
Safety Stations are essential for any environment to store your first aid kits, bandages & supplies safely. An emergency eye wash attachment is standard in case of an eye injury.
Gas Leak Detector
Gas escaping from pipe work needs to be detected quickly. Depending on the type of gas, the consequences range from merely wasteful to fatal. Leaking gas can be environmentally damaging, it can create an explosion risk, and it can even annihilate the lab.
The gas leak detector meets industry standards relating to personal safety and is mainly used for the detection of methane, Hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide and oxygen levels (along with 50 other possible gases). The auto-calibration function allows for easy recalibration of the gas leak detector. Depending on the model, the gas leak detector has the ability to store values and transfer the recorded data in to a computer.
Gas Purification System
Gas purification system is a variety of configurations that meet the different demands of the laboratory function. A gas purification system includes standard gas purifier systems, inert gas management systems, high-pressure gas purifier systems, particle absorber clean jet systems and tritium retention systems. Configurations range from single column and double column purifier units with standard features to fully automated, multi-column custom purification systems used in industrial production scale applications.
Bio Safety Cabinet
Bio safety cabinet NSF/ANSI 49, and EN12469 certified Class I and Class II Biosafety Cabinets (BSCs) that provide personnel, product, and environmental protection through the use of laminar air flow and HEPA filtration when looking to obtain optimum control over product quality while reducing the potential for exposure. We offer a range of ergonomically designed bench top and console models that can either be recirculated back into the laboratory environment or into a facility exhaust system through the duct work.

- Class II, Type A2
- Class II,Type B1
- Class II, Type B2
Class I
Class I Biological Safety Cabinets provide personnel protection for handling of low risk aerosols and particulate matter. Room air enters the Cabinet, flowing past the operator into the work access opening providing an air barrier which minimizes contaminants generated within the cabinet work zone from migrating into the room. The air flows through the cabinet carrying contaminants with it, exiting through a HEPA filter as a Class I Cabinet
Class II Type A2
Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets offer personnel, product, and environmental protection to obtain optimum control over product quality while reducing the potential for exposure of both product and personnel to airborne biological or particulate chemical agents in low to moderate risk-hazard research and drug preparation or product operations
Class II Type B1
Class II, Type B1 Biological Safety Cabinets exhausts 70% of airflow. The B1 Biosafety Cabinet may be used for work treated with minute quantities of volatile toxic chemicals and trace amounts of radionuclides required as an adjunct to microbiological studies if work is done in the direct exhausted portion of the cabinet, or if the chemicals or radionuclides will not interfere with the work when recirculated in the downflow air.
Class II Type B2
Class II, Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinets feature downflow air drawn from within the laboratory or outside air. No downflow air is drawn from the cabinet exhaust air. All downflow and inflow air is exhausted through a HEPA filter without recirculation within the cabinet. All contaminated ducts and plenums are maintained at negative pressure. The Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinet may be used for work with volatile toxic chemicals and radionuclides as required as adjuncts to microbiological studies.
Laminar Flow Cabinet
Horizontal and Vertical Laminar Flow Clean Workstations utilize the newest technologies in laminar airflow design, materials and manufacturing processes. The clean workstation can be used where clean airflow per ISO 14644-1 is required for the preparation of injectable drugs, IV solutions, tissue culture, optics, microelectronics, and more. The clean bench should not be used for any work that involves biological agents assigned a level of Risk 1 through 4 as classified by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Atlanta, Georgia, since the horizontal or vertical flow offers no personnel protection against these agents. The clean bench should only be used to protect the product from contamination. A significant number of design innovations give the NuAire Laminar flow equipment superior performance qualities in airflow, lighting, noise levels and vibration.
